Triage​​

Are you a 3rd or 4th-year medical student or have you participated in clinical or medical mission trips? If you have experience taking vitals, blood sugar, or providing basic healthcare support, we would love to have you help our patients. You'll work alongside experienced professionals to ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner, gaining valuable exposure to patient care.

What You'll Do: 

• Take vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature) 

• Monitor blood sugar levels 

• Prepare patients for the medical provider

Scribing​​

Have you worked as a medical scribe before? Interested in learning more about what doctors do in a clinical setting? As a medical scribe, you'll be part of the action, documenting patient visits, assisting with charting, and gaining valuable insight into the medical field. This is a great role for students who want to deepen their understanding of healthcare operations and medical documentation. 

 

What You'll Do: 

• Document patient histories, symptoms, and treatment plans 

• Assist in medical charting and updating electronic health records 

• Gain insight into medical decision-making and procedures

Interpreter​​

Fluent in Spanish or another language, like Arabic or Farsi? As a bilingual student, you can help bridge the gap for our non-English-speaking patients by providing interpretation services during medical visits. While being fluent in Spanish is preferred, we are open to students willing to learn and grow in the role. 

 

What You'll Do: 

• Translate for patients and providers during medical consultations 

• Assist in navigating medical terminology and patient needs 

• Help create an inclusive, welcoming experience for non-English-speaking patients
