Casa's 2024 Progress and Promise Ahead

Hurricane Beryl Response 

In the face of Hurricane Beryl's challenges, the resilience and dedication of Casa El Buen Samaritano shone brightly. Despite the storm, the team resumed patient care on Thursday, July 11, ensuring that both medical and dental clinics were operational.  

The power outage from Monday morning to Wednesday morning posed a significant challenge. Refrigerators storing patient assistance medication and other critical supplies had to be disposed of due to uncertainty about the outage duration and temperature drop. Demonstrating remarkable efficiency and care, the medical assistants quickly contacted medication companies, who promptly sent refills within weeks, ensuring no disruption in patient care. 

This steadfast commitment to service reflects the spirit of Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
